Mary Anne leads a team of property lawyers specialising in sales and purchases (including commercial and residential conveyancing) and aged care and retirement living transactions and advice.
She is experienced in advising government, corporate, private sector and not-for-profit clients across a range of areas including sale and purchase, commercial leasing, project development, project financing, greenfield development, JVs, property management agreements, franchising, and land tenure. She also provides commercial advice and dispute resolution for landlords and operators of aged care and retirement living units.
Mary Anne’s most recent experience includes advising:
- The Salvation Army – charitable JVs, funding contracts and social and affordable housing PPP
- Aged care disputes: Advising on disputes for a range of retirement living and aged care providers
- Independent Living Unit leasing: Advising on Independent Living Unit leases for aged care providers and tenants
Mary Anne holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney.
She has an extensive background in property, corporate and commercial law gained in her previous roles with national law firms Clayton Utz and Minter Ellison.
Mary Anne was recognised as a finalist in the Legal Mentor category of the Women in Law Awards 2013.
