Our innovative law firm is wholly owned by The Salvation Army. We commenced in August 2005 as Courtyard Legal, a free legal service established at the Auburn Salvation Army. From these humble beginnings, Salvos Legal was born as a world-first social enterprise law firm in December 2010, continuing The Salvation Army’s long history of innovation.
Being part of The Salvation Army enables us to deliver holistic services to our humanitarian clients. As well as helping with their legal needs, we can connect people to social and pastoral services offered by The Salvation Army to help address underlying causes of their legal issues, such as drug & alcohol recovery, employment assistance, welfare, counselling, financial management and aged care.
