Salvos Legal is excited to be shortlisted in this year’s FT Innovative Lawyers Asia-Pacific awards for ‘Innovation in the rule of law and access to justice’.
The awards ceremony is on 7 June 2018. Following submissions from law firms and lawyers based in Asia-Pacific, robust research is carried out by the FT and its research partner RSG Consulting.
All profits from Salvos Legal’s commercial legal services delivered to leading Australian businesses and government agencies fund the provision of pro bono legal services to disadvantaged and marginalised people in the community through its sister firm, Salvos Legal Humanitarian. To date, Salvos Legal Humanitarian has assisted in over 22,100 cases for free to those in need.
Ross Lamb, CEO of Salvos Legal commented “This is a great acknowledgement of the type of work we are doing for our humanitarian clients, who otherwise wouldn’t have access to legal assistance or representation. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our commercial clients, our team and all our volunteers for their continued support and contribution to the work we do.”
